Mark Solberg is originally from Minot, ND. He Started playing drums in the 4th Grade. In 1982, while a sophomore in High School, Mark joined his first band, "The Lost Weekend Band." Mark says: "it was kind of strange playing in bars and partying on the weekends while in High School because our guitar player was my science teacher. Come Monday I was sitting at my desk and he was teaching. Come Friday after school we were on our way to some nightclub 50 - 60 miles away and it was a party all weekend long."

In 1985 Mark hit the road with various blues and mainstream rock bands under the names The Jackets, Weerox, and Kid Gypsy. In 1990 after suffering from burnout from the road he took most of the 90's off. In late 2002 he picked up the sticks again and started playing for a local classic cover band, "The Wild Rumor Band." Once a musician, always a musician, so they say.

After hearing on the wind that "High Noon" was looking for a drummer, Mark auditioned and by unanimous decision, became High Noon's new drummer.

Mark Plays DW Drum Workshop Drums, Zildjian Cymbals, Remo Heads, and Vic Firth Sticks.
