Bob grew up in southern Minnesota on a farm outside of St. James. Ever since he was old enough to remember, he was involved in music. From singing in front of the church at the age of 4, to singing solos in school. He was involved in pretty much every musical thing offered in school including choir, band, and other specialty groups.
Bob grew up in southern Minnesota on a farm outside of St. James. Ever since he was old enough to remember, he was involved in music. From singing in front of the church at the age of 4, to singing solos in school. He was involved in pretty much every musical thing offered in school including choir, band, and other specialty groups.
In high school he and his best friend Dave decided to learn how to play guitar. After 1 week Dave was so good that Bob decided to learn Bass guitar instead. In Bob's immortal words, "Hey, I like this. Only 4 strings instead of 6 !!!".
After playing in Rock & Roll bands through 1988 Bob got burned out with playing on stage. He switched to running sound and was with the local band Gemini through 1992. He then joined High Noon as their sound man at the end of the year.
At the end of 1996 Bob joined High Noon as a stage member playing Bass guitar and singing. He is still having a great time and looks forward to great things with High Noon.
